Mesilla Valley Training Institute opened its doors in Las Cruces, New Mexico back in September, 2005. Since then, we are well known by our blue trucks and are recognized in our immediate surrounding areas including Anthony, Mesquite, Vado, San Miguel, La Mesa. We also have been recognized in Alamogordo, T or C, Hatch, Deming, Silver City and Lordsburg.

The growth and development of Mesilla Valley Transportation has led us to the creation, development and implementation of the Mesilla Valley Training Institute in Las Cruces, NM. We have developed an environment for our students to help them achieve their goals in truck driving. We provide full assistance from the initial request for information to receiving your Certificate of Completion of our Professional Commercial Driver Training. In the first few weeks of the training, we will prepare you for the required Motor Vehicle Department knowledge tests, we will inform you about the culture of the trucking industry, as well as how to do logbook entries and efficient trip planning. Upon completion of the first course section, you will be certified under The National Safety Council Professional Truck Driver Defensive Driving Course. In the second section of the training, you will learn and become proficient in the basic maneuvers and skills needed to safely and effectively control a tractor-trailer. Road Instruction will allow you to develop the skills necessary to prepare for the CDL Road Test conducted by a state examiner, and to safely operate a tractor-trailer on public roadways.

At our campus in Las Cruces, we are an Approved Training provider for Southwest Area Workforce Development Board (New Mexico), and New Mexico Department of Vocational Rehabilitation.
